Pre-Travel Program

Our pre-travel program is run by Coach Mike Evans and has been a huge success since starting in 2021. Coach Evans is a well known youth coach, founder of Full Court Peace, and a great asset to our program.

Players will practice with their grade level and scrimmage with similar children from near-by towns.

Additional details about each of the program can be found at the following links:

Programming will start the week of November 6th and continue through early March. We will break of school holidays.

Questions about the program should be directed to Coach Evans (mike@rightangleshooting.com).

Frequently Asked Questions

Does my child have to have basketball experience to play in the pre-travel program?

No but it's a plus. We look forward to enrolling players who are eager to learn basketball, bring a positive attitude and willingness to listen, practice hard, and are good teammates. Space is limited, however, so that an effective player-to-coach ration can be maintained.

Can my child also play YBall?

Yes, schedule permitting. The NCBA pre-travel program is separate from YBall. We aim to minimize scheduling conflicts where possible, so that kids who are interested in participating in both programs can do so.

Does the program utilize parent volunteers?

No. Coach Evans and his colleagues plan and coach the weekday practices and then organize and oversee the weekend scrimmages.

Is there a uniform requirement?

Yes. Each player will receive a complimentary NCBA pinney. They can wear their own shorts and socks.
